About the Summer School

Prior to the Shaping 10 conference, a Summer School will be held on September 19th-20th, 2026, focusing on the topic "Precursor Approaches to Ceramics and Glasses," during which all aspects dealing with the synthesis, manufacturing, characterization and applications of ceramics from precursor materials will be presented and discussed. Precursors such as preceramic polymers, sol-gel materials, alkali-activated materials and geopolymers we’ll be covered.
